High Desert Education Summit 2023

On Friday, October 20, 2023, the Victor Valley College Foundation will host a transformative event that bridges the gap between education and business: the High Desert Education Summit! This highly-anticipated summit brings together innovative educators, industry leaders, and community members passionate about education’s profound impact on economic development.

At the High Desert Education Summit, participants will be able to engage in thought-provoking discussions, gain valuable insights, and foster collaborations that will shape the future of education in our region. Whether a teacher, administrator, business owner or simply interested in the power of education, this summit holds immense value.

The summit aims to inspire and transform the educational landscape by illuminating how education fuels economic development. Through engaging keynote speeches, panel discussions, a State of the College presentation, and networking sessions, attendees will explore innovative strategies, emerging trends, and groundbreaking initiatives that drive economic growth through education. High Desert Education Summit will provide a platform for sharing ideas, best practices, and success stories.

In partnership with the Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce, local businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to host a booth – providing them with the perfect opportunity to connect and engage with VVC students, partners, and leaders.

“The GHDCC is thrilled to once again partner with the Victor Valley College Foundation to host the HDOS Exhibitor Hall,” said Mark Creffield, Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce President/CEO. “This event always provides valuable networking opportunities for local businesses and organizations.”

Proceeds of the High Desert Education Summit will benefit the Victor Valley College Foundation, which provides scholarship and grant opportunities to students at Victor Valley College.
