The purpose of this scholarship is to continue the memory of Brandon E. Smith. He was 19 years old when he died tragically during a motorcycle race on August 24, 2007 in Nevada. He aspired to take over his father’s business after obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree. He was hardworking and passionate about everything he became involved in. He never wasted a minute of his life. He was always busy and involved with something – work, school, sports, etc. The recipient of this scholarship is encouraged to give back to their community in the future.
