Catholic Charities’ “Providing Help, Creating Hope” Scholarships began in 2004 thanks to the generosity of individual donors with the desire to invest in low-income students by supporting a portion of their educational expenses. Available to students at many of the public institutions of higher learning throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties, the Catholic Charities’ “Providing Help, Creating Hope” Scholarships are intended for students whose education will provide them with opportunities to work in the helping professions. Catholic Charities programs and services strengthen local families by increasing their stability, health, and safety in the Inland Counties. Our motto of “Providing Help, Creating Hope” challenges scholarship recipients to do the same in their local communities upon the completion of their education.
