Terry Caldwell dedicated over 40 years to public service, serving first on the Victorville Sanitary District Board of Directors, then the Victorville Planning Commission, then Victorville City Council. During this time he also practiced law becoming a well-known and sought after attorney. Prior to becoming an attorney, he held management positions for Continental Telephone Company (later Contel, now Verizon) including Marketing Manager for eleven western states while still in his 30’s. His successful careers in business, government service and law are the reasons behind the selections of majors for this scholarship.
