Q. What does receiving a scholarship mean to you?
A.  A scholarship means that the financial burden of college is now a much smaller obstacle on my path to finishing a degree in mechanical engineering. I am honored to be one of the selected to receive a scholarship.

Q. How is attending VVC changing your life?
A. VVC has been a place for me to expand my knowledge, test myself and push my limits. I have reached father than I ever dreamed I could and have been able to participate in research as well as to be a NASA Intern twice during my time at VVC.

Q. What are your goals and dreams? And how is VVC helping you reach those goals?
A.  My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. VVC has provided me with a solid foundation in math and science and through our physics department I have had the chance to put these skills in to practice in the form of undergraduate research, projects, and engineering internships at NASA.

Q. Why should someone give a scholarship to VVC?
A.Donating to VVC means that people like me can finish college without excessive financial woes. It means that they are investing in the next generation of Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, and Scholars.

Q. Why should a student choose to attend VVC?
A.  Because it is accessible. VVC is a great place to start your educational journey, a place where you can start at any level and achieve whatever you want to if you are willing to put the work in. Do you have a dream? VVC is the place to pursue it.
