Hey Rams — everything you need when doing business with the Foundation, from campus grant applications and deadlines to grant-development support and forms.
CAMPUS GRANTS

Apply for a campus grant

Three times a year, the Victor Valley College Foundation grants thousands of dollars to VVC employees to implement innovative ideas that promote student success. These awards provide up to $2,500 to enhance a program, purchase equipment, or fund a life-changing student experience. The program is open to any VVC employee who can demonstrate a good idea for solving a problem or enhancing a program that affects students.
Applications are evaluated by a committee of constituency representatives from the College along with donors and members of the Foundation board. Even applications that aren’t funded provide valuable insight — donors have been inspired to contribute directly to programs, and the board is better informed about how to support the College because of past applications.

    GRANT DEVELOPMENT

Let us help you write your next grant

Victor Valley College and the Foundation are proud recipients of federal, state, local, corporate, and private grants, and we manage those funds responsibly — on time and within budget. Foundation staff are here to write, edit, or assist in the grant process for all campus employees: faculty, foundation, administration, and classified.
Once a need or project is identified, the best approach is to find a matching funding source whose mission supports that goal. Occasionally the College or Foundation responds to a request for proposal (RFP) from a grant-maker. Whatever your dreams are, let us help you achieve them.
Have a project in mind? Contact Kirsten Acosta, Executive Director, at 760-245-4271 ext. 2523 or get in touch with the Foundation.
