Jim "The Rookie" Morris
The High Desert Education Summit is excited to announce that Jim Morris, former Major League Baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, will serve as the keynote speaker at this year’s event. Known for his inspiring journey of making his MLB debut at the age of 35 after overcoming several arm surgeries, Morris embodies the theme of The High Desert Education Summit. The High Desert Education Summit has a rich history of bringing together local community members, business leaders, and government officials to foster collaboration and provide educational opportunities. This year’s event will take place on October 25, 2024, at The Educational Event Center and will continue its tradition of inspiring attendees to pursue professional growth and development.
